David Ross, partner at Sydney-based Walker Wayland, visits Cassons

David Ross, partner at Sydney-based Walker Wayland NSW, a leading accountancy and business advisory firm in Australasia, recently took the opportunity to visit Cassons Lancashire office whilst he was in the UK visiting family and meeting clients.

Cassons and Walker Wayland are both members of BKR International, a leading global association of accounting firms and work together to look after a number of clients who have businesses and interests in both the UK and Australasia.

The visit meant we were able to take the opportunity to discuss our mutual clients in person, and also discuss clients who are looking to set up in the UK, and vice versa, and who may need assistance in the near future.

Les Nutter, Cassons Managing Partner explains:  “We were delighted to welcome David to our Lancashire office. We work with David on a number of mutual clients, and although we are able to catch up regularly at BKR conferences and meetings, it is also great for David to be able to meet the other staff at Cassons who he has been working with.

“We frequently speak with David and the team at Walker Wayland to discuss matters relating to both UK clients trading in Australia and Australian businesses trading in the UK so it is hugely valuable for us to have these strong relationships.”

David said: “It was great to be able to catch up with my BKR colleagues and to see Cassons offices too.

“The BKR conferences and meetings provide a fantastic opportunity to build strong relationships with other BKR member firms, but it is always helpful to visit the offices of other firms too - it gives you a real feel for the firm and the people that work there, which helps us when we’re referring clients and talking to them about the other firms that we work with through BKR.”
