Recently, there has been coverage in the media about the introduction of a new ‘anti spam’ European law. (Spam is the term given to bulk, unsolicited emails.) The aim of the law is to protect the rights of the consumer by dictating the way in which businesses communicate by email with their customers, suppliers and business contacts. As a consequence, we wanted to find out our clients’ and contacts’ communication preferences because we only want to send information which will be of use. In addition to this, we have been reviewing and updating the way in which we communicate. As part of this process we will re-launch our website. It will include online services; a new suite of literature to read or download; a facility to pose a query to our experts which we will answer via a personal secure website area; and, in the near future, access for our clients to our Client zone giving the ability to access data online. We will also be introducing our new newsletter. We have written to our clients and contacts asking them to let us know what material they would find interesting and to check their contact information so that we can update our database. As a thank you for completing the form, any entries that are returned by Friday 14 November will be entered into our free prize draw to win one of 5 cases of wine.
