current vacancies

We are currently recruiting for a number of positions across the firm, with vacancies in our accounts, tax, payroll and admin support teams. We are also interested to hear from candidates who feel they would like to join our team and become a Cassons hero! If you would like to register your interest with us send your CV, along with a covering letter, to Laura Braithwaite, HR Manager at recruitment@cassons.co.uk.

You can also "meet" some of our current trainees here!

We like to think that we are a little different to other firms of accountants. Hopefully, reading about some of our clients will give you a flavour of the type of work we do, and the lengths we go to in order to help our clients.

And you may also enjoy some of the videos that we have made over the last couple of years! See below for our most recent, and here for Cassons TV!

what to expect from Cassons

At Cassons we deal with faces, not just numbers. We welcome the talents of people from diverse backgrounds in order to provide expertise, dedication and enthusiasm to help us to continue to grow and prosper. We know that our people are vital to the success of the business and we encourage everyone to achieve their maximum potential.

Training and development are taken seriously; we are a recognised Investors in People employer and work hard to ensure that staff are supported and encouraged in their development. We will support you, both with formal study support and by sharing the expertise and knowledge we have developed as a firm. In return for your commitment, we offer a competitive benefits package (including private health care, life assurance, pension and payroll giving scheme) and we recognise the need for a healthy balance between work and family life by providing flexible working.

We want you to enjoy working as part of our team and we host a variety of social events throughout the year such as quiz nights, charity pie & pea lunches, a summer meal and a Christmas party. One of the highlights of the year is the production of Cassons' Christmas video. Everyone joins in and enjoys the whole process from hair and makeup (which might only be a dusting of powder) to choreography (if you want to dance) and filming!

We are also very committed to our local community and run two major Corporate Social Responsibility projects which will give you the hands on opportunity to help with a local school or provide support for the local hospice.

We also provide an excellent working environment within our air conditioned, open plan offices. We have a large and fully equipped kitchen together with a substantial recreation room with TV and a pool table at our Lancashire office. At the back of the Lancashire office we have a large decked area which is an ideal location for lunch in the summer. It overlooks a smallholding so hens and ducks are regular visitors! The Manchester office is located just off Deansgate and is perfect for any lunchtime shopping. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and relaxation area.

It’s a real cliche, but a firm is only as good as the people it employs and at Cassons we are justifiably proud of our people and the strength of our team.
