Established barrister

Once you become established at the Bar you often tend to work more from home and so you may want to claim tax relief on your household costs. As your practice grows you may take on an employee, who may or may not be your spouse, to help you with your administration.

Above all, your financial focus will now turn from survival in your early years of practice, to planning for your future and that of your family. Our Bar Department works hand in hand with our Financial Services Department to provide personal and financial planning advice as you head towards retirement and beyond.
