Career
Following a degree from Manchester University joined Touche Ross (now Deloitte) as a trainee in the audit department in 1986. Qualified in 1989. Promoted to audit supervisor. Left in 1990 to join Cassons (then J B Lever & Co). Promoted to partner in 1996.

I should say Burnley, being a Burnley lad but I've started to enjoy Manchester United!
