Career
Joined Whinney Murray & Co (now Ernst & Young) pre-university 1968. Qualified 1974. Joined J B Lever & Co (now Cassons) 1976, became a partner 1977, senior partner 1997.
Professional memberships
Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Founding Individual Member of the Expert Witness Institute.
Lectures
Have lectured on financial planning many times to pupil barristers; on calculating loss of earnings, on Ogden tables, and on pension loss, many times to solicitors and barristers; on calculating loss of earnings at EuroLegal Conference "Preparing and Attacking Schedules of Damages"; and on preparing for the Euro to many businesses. Presents a seminar on corporate finance to MBA students at Manchester Business School.
